The BONEHAM AM00001131 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Built from steel with a hardness rating of 60 to 65 HRC, it provides consistent bore alignment and resists wear through repeated use. The bushing features a 9.9 mm inside diameter, a 15 mm body outside diameter, and a 36 mm length under the head. The counterbored design and renewable construction allow the bushing to be replaced without disturbing the liner bushing or fixture plate, reducing downtime on the shop floor.
This slip-fixed bushing is used in precision drilling, reaming, and boring operations where a renewable guide is required. It conforms to ANSI standards and is suited for production jigs in manufacturing, metalworking, and machining environments. The SF and SFM industry codes indicate compatibility with standard liner bushing systems. Machinists and tooling specialists install this type of bushing in drill jigs to maintain positional accuracy across high-volume part runs.
Designed for use with standard SF and SFM liner bushing systems conforming to ANSI dimensional standards for slip-fixed renewable drill bushings.
Installation is typically performed by a machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the fixture plate is secure and the liner bushing is properly seated before inserting the slip-fixed bushing. Verify the bushing rotates freely and locks correctly per the fixture design before beginning any drilling operation. Follow applicable shop safety procedures and de-energize all machinery before servicing jig components.
