The BONEHAM AM00001130 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for precision hole location and guiding in jig and fixture applications. Built from steel with a hardness rating of 60 to 65 HRC, this bushing resists wear under repeated drilling cycles. The 9.9 mm inside diameter accommodates standard drill bit shanks, while the 28 mm length under head provides adequate depth for guided cutting in medium-thickness workpieces. The counterbored design and renewable construction allow the bushing to be replaced without scrapping the jig plate. Machinists, tool and die makers, and maintenance technicians working in production or repair environments are the primary installers of this component.
This slip-fixed bushing suits standard drill jig applications where the bushing must be held in place during the drilling operation without rotation. The SF and SFM industry code designation identifies it as compliant with ANSI standards for drill bushing geometry and tolerancing. It is appropriate for use in both production jig setups and one-off fixture builds where precise hole location is required. The inside diameter tolerance of plus 0.005 to plus 0.014 mm ensures consistent fit with the mating drill or liner bushing.
Designed as an ANSI-standard slip-fixed drill bushing for use in drill jig plates that accept SF and SFM style renewable bushings with a 15 mm body outside diameter and 26 mm head outside diameter.
Installation and removal are performed by qualified machinists or tool and die technicians familiar with jig and fixture work. The workpiece or jig assembly should be secured and all machine power should be off before inserting or extracting the bushing. A bushing driver or press should be used to seat or remove the bushing without damaging the head or bore. Do not hammer directly on the bushing head, as this can alter the inside diameter tolerance or damage the seating surface.
