The BONEHAM AM00001072 is a slip-fixed drill bushing manufactured to the SFM industry standard. It is designed to guide cutting tools accurately during drilling, reaming, or similar machining operations, maintaining precise hole location and alignment across repeated cycles. The bushing features an 8.3 mm inside diameter, a 15 mm body outside diameter, and a 16 mm length under the head. Constructed for use in jig and fixture applications, this part is installed and serviced by machinists and tooling specialists working in production or maintenance machine shop environments.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jig applications where a renewable slip-fixed design is required. The slip-fixed configuration allows the bushing to be seated and locked in a liner bushing during operation, then removed for replacement without disturbing the surrounding fixture or jig plate. It is appropriate for production environments that demand repeatable tool guidance with the ability to swap worn bushings efficiently.
Designed as an OEM-style renewable slip-fixed bushing for use with standard SFM-series liner bushings in drill jig and fixture assemblies.
Installation is performed by machinists or tooling technicians. The bushing is inserted into a compatible liner bushing and rotated to lock in the fixed position before machining begins. Ensure the mating liner bushing bore and the jig plate are clean and free of chips or debris before seating. Always power down and lock out the machine before changing bushings to prevent contact with rotating tooling.
