The BONEHAM AM00001048 is a slip-fixed drill bushing conforming to the SFM industry code standard. It is designed for use in jig plates and tooling fixtures where precise hole location and repeatable drill guidance are required. The bushing features a 7.75 mm inside diameter, a 12 mm body outside diameter, and a 12 mm length under head. Slip-fixed bushings press into a liner bushing and lock in place with a quarter-turn, making them a renewable component in high-cycle drilling applications. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders work with this type of bushing in production and maintenance environments.
This bushing is suited for metal fabrication, machine shop tooling, and production drilling fixtures across a range of industries. Its renewable design allows worn bushings to be replaced without disturbing the liner bushing installed in the jig plate, minimizing downtime on the shop floor. Typical applications include repetitive hole drilling, reaming, and countersinking operations where positional accuracy is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit slip-fixed drill bushing for standard SFM-code liner bushings accepting a 12 mm body outside diameter.
Slip-fixed bushings are installed and removed by toolmakers or machinists using the appropriate slip-fixed wrench or spanner. Ensure the liner bushing in the jig plate is clean and free of burrs before seating the AM00001048. Align the locking head with the liner slot, insert, and rotate a quarter-turn to lock. Always secure the fixture plate before beginning any drilling operation.
