The BONEHAM AM00000960 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed for precision hole-location guidance in jig and fixture applications. Built to SF and SFM industry codes under ANSI standards, this bushing features a 5.25 mm inside diameter with a tight tolerance of +0.004 to +0.012 mm, a 10 mm body outside diameter, and an 18 mm head outside diameter. The body is machined from steel and hardened to 60 to 65 HRC for long-term wear resistance. It is installed by machinists and tool-and-die professionals wherever repeatable drill positioning is required.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jigs and production fixtures in both manufacturing and maintenance environments. The counterbored head design and LSM-2 lock screw compatibility allow the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the liner bushing installed in the jig plate, making it appropriate for tooling setups where bit sizes change between operations. The 25 mm length under head accommodates standard jig plate thicknesses in typical shop applications.
Designed for use with LSM-2 lock screws and compatible liner bushings in standard drill jig assemblies conforming to SF and SFM bushing configurations per ANSI specifications.
This bushing is installed by machinists or tooling technicians working with drill jigs and fixtures. Ensure the receiving liner bushing bore is clean and free of burrs before pressing or slipping the bushing into position. Secure with an LSM-2 lock screw to prevent rotation during drilling operations. Always disengage power to any attached machinery before servicing or replacing jig tooling components.
