The BONEHAM AM00000907 is a slip-fixed drill bushing manufactured to the SFM industry code standard. It features a 3.5 mm inside diameter, an 8 mm body outside diameter, and a 16 mm length under head. Slip-fixed bushings are pressed into a liner bushing already installed in a drill jig, allowing the bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the jig plate. This design suits high-volume production environments where tooling accuracy and repeatability are essential. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders are the primary installers of this component.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jigs, fixture plates, and production tooling applications where controlled hole location is required. The SFM configuration allows the bushing to lock in place during drilling operations while remaining removable for tool changes or bushing replacement. It is appropriate for light- to medium-duty drilling, reaming, and similar guided-tool operations in both job shop and production floor environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation slip-fixed drill bushing for use with standard SFM-code liner bushings in production drill jigs and fixture tooling.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists working with drill jig assemblies. The liner bushing must already be properly seated in the jig plate before the slip-fixed bushing is inserted. Ensure the jig and workpiece are properly fixtured and that the drilling machine is powered down before changing or seating bushings. Follow applicable shop safety and tooling standards for jig bushing installation.
