The BONEHAM AM00000902 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools accurately through jig plates in precision machining and metalworking applications. Built to industry codes SF and SFM, this renewable bushing features a 3.3 mm inside diameter and an 8 mm body outside diameter with a 10 mm length under the head. The steel construction is hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, providing resistance to wear during high-volume drilling, reaming, or boring operations. A counterbored head design and LSM-1 compatible lock screw keep the bushing securely seated in the jig plate during use. Machinists, tool and die makers, and fixture builders are the primary installers.
This bushing is suited for use in drill jig fixtures in both production and job-shop environments. It installs into a mating liner bushing pressed into the jig plate, allowing the slip-fixed bushing to be removed and replaced without disturbing the fixture itself. The renewable design makes it practical for operations that require frequent tool-size changes or high bushing turnover due to wear. Applications include drilling, reaming, and light counterboring in ferrous and non-ferrous materials where repeatable hole location is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit renewable drill bushing for standard jig plate liner bushings accepting SF and SFM style slip-fixed bushings per ANSI specifications. Requires an LSM-1 compatible lock screw for secure installation.
Installation is performed by machinists or fixture technicians using standard hand tools. Ensure the mating liner bushing in the jig plate is clean and free of chips or debris before inserting the slip-fixed bushing. Secure the bushing with an LSM-1 lock screw to prevent rotation during cutting operations. Always de-energize and lock out any powered equipment before servicing or replacing drill jig components.
