The BONEHAM AM00000801 is a slip-fixed drill bushing designed to guide cutting tools with precision in jig and fixture applications. Built to SF and SFM industry codes, it features a 12 mm inside diameter, an 18 mm body outside diameter, and a 28 mm length under the head. The steel construction is hardened to 60 to 65 HRC, providing wear resistance suited for high-cycle production drilling. The counterbored head design allows the bushing to seat flush or proud depending on fixture requirements. Machinists, toolmakers, and fixture builders working to ANSI standards will find this bushing a direct fit for standard drill jig applications.
This bushing is used in drill jigs and production fixtures across metalworking, fabrication, and manufacturing environments. It installs into a liner bushing or directly into a fixture plate using the slip-fixed method, which allows for tool changes without disturbing the fixture setup. The SF and SFM codes indicate compatibility with standard slip-renewable bushing systems. The 30 mm head outside diameter and 8 mm head height provide a positive seating surface. This is a single-piece unit packaged individually and ordered in single-unit increments.
Designed as an ANSI-standard slip-fixed renewable drill bushing conforming to SF and SFM industry codes, suitable for use with standard liner bushings in drill jig fixtures.
Installation is performed by toolmakers or machinists during fixture assembly or bushing replacement. Ensure the liner bushing bore is clean and free of chips before inserting the slip-fixed bushing. Use the appropriate locking mechanism to secure the bushing in the liner during drilling operations and remove it during tool changes as required by the SF or SFM system design. Follow applicable ANSI jig bushing standards and shop safety procedures when pressing or seating components.
