The Bogen Model WMT1A is a line matching transformer used for impedance matching on a 600-ohm line. It has a high-impedance primary of ten thousand ohms and a low-impedance, six hundred ohm secondary balanced with a center tap. This transformer is suitable for connecting telephone systems to Bogen public address amplifiers for use in telephone paging systems. It can also serve to feed program materials over a 600-ohm telephone line, commonly in music-on-hold setups.
