The ALLPOINTS 010-1483 is a low pressure control switch designed for refrigeration and HVAC applications where precise pressure-based switching is required. The unit features a single-pole single-throw (SPST) switch mechanism with an operating range of 10 to 100 psi and a differential range of 10 to 40 psi. A 36-inch capillary tube connects the sensing element to the switch body, giving technicians adequate reach during installation. The control ships with a 1/4-inch SAE flare nut connection, mounting hardware, and instructions. Licensed HVAC and refrigeration technicians are the primary installers for this type of pressure control.
This low pressure control is suited for use in commercial and residential refrigeration systems as well as light commercial HVAC equipment where low-side pressure monitoring is needed. It is listed as a replacement-compatible part for Ranco-style low pressure controls of the same capillary length and connection type. The SPST configuration makes it straightforward to wire into existing low-voltage control circuits. Mounting hardware is included, reducing additional parts requirements on the service call.
Designed as a replacement-compatible low pressure control for Ranco-style units with a 36-inch capillary and 1/4-inch SAE flare nut connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC or refrigeration technician. Recover all refrigerant and relieve system pressure before breaking into the refrigerant circuit to connect the capillary flare fitting. Disconnect power to the unit at the disconnect or breaker before wiring the switch into the control circuit. Follow local codes and manufacturer wiring diagrams when terminating low-voltage control wiring.
