The ACCUPRO 772204 is a CAT50 taper shank end mill holder designed for secure, high-precision tool clamping in CNC machining centers. It accepts a 2-inch hole diameter and delivers a 3.625-inch projection, positioning the cutting tool accurately relative to the spindle face. With a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0002 inches (0.005 mm), this holder maintains tight concentricity tolerances essential for finish milling and heavy material removal. Through-spindle and DIN flange coolant delivery is supported, directing coolant directly to the cutting zone. Machinists and CNC setup technicians install this holder in standard CAT50-spindle vertical and horizontal machining centers.
This end mill holder is suited for production and job-shop environments running CAT50-taper machining centers. The 3.875-inch nose diameter and 3.34-inch clamping depth provide rigid support for large-diameter end mills in demanding cutting applications. Verify TIR at setup using a dial test indicator before running any cutting program. Inspect the taper shank and spindle bore for nicks, chips, or contamination before mounting, as surface defects directly affect runout and tool life.
