The ACCUPRO 75264648 is a carbide turning insert designed for external turning operations on CNC and manual lathes. It carries the ANSI designation SNMG433 and ISO designation SNMG120412, identifying its square shape, neutral hand orientation, and 1.20 mm corner radius. The insert is manufactured in grade ACP35M with a CVD coating applied for enhanced wear resistance. It features a negative side clearance geometry and a WM+ chip breaker, making it well suited for medium to finishing cuts in steel and stainless steel. Licensed machinists and CNC programmers will recognize this as a standard SNMG-style insert for toolholders using clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods.
This insert is intended for turning operations on steel (P-class), stainless steel (M-class), and special or super alloys (S-class) workpieces. The CVD coating and ACP35M grade deliver a balance of wear resistance and toughness appropriate for general production turning in job shop and manufacturing environments. With a maximum depth of cut of 0.1575 inches (4.00 mm) and an 0.5000-inch inscribed circle, the insert fits standard SNMG toolholders commonly found in production turning cells. It ships in individual unit packaging with a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement for SNMG-style turning insert holders accepting the SNMG120412 or SNMG433 insert designation with a 0.5000-inch inscribed circle and negative clearance geometry.
Insert seating and clamping should be performed by a qualified machinist following the toolholder manufacturer's torque and clamping procedures. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing inserts. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping hardware for wear or damage before seating a new insert. Ensure the chip breaker orientation and hand designation match the programmed tool path before resuming cuts.
