The ACCUPRO 75260661 is a CNMG-style indexable turning insert designed for metal cutting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built from CVD-coated carbide in grade ACP15K, this insert delivers high wear resistance across a range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The diamond-shaped 80-degree included angle provides a strong cutting edge geometry, while the 1.20 mm (0.0472 inch) corner radius and neutral hand orientation make it a versatile choice for general-purpose external and internal turning. Each insert provides four usable cutting edges, reducing per-edge tooling cost in high-production environments.
This insert is suited for finishing to medium roughing passes on steel and stainless steel components where high wear resistance is the priority, as well as cast iron applications requiring moderate toughness. The WM+ chip breaker geometry is engineered to control chip formation across varying feed and depth-of-cut conditions. The CNMG433 ANSI size code and ISO designation CNMG120412 allow direct cross-reference for toolholder selection. Maximum depth of cut is 4.00 mm (0.1575 inches). Compatible holding methods include clamp, lever lock, pin, and screw-type toolholders accepting the CNMG insert form.
Designed for use in CNMG-style indexable toolholders accepting the ANSI CNMG433 or ISO CNMG120412 insert form with a 0.2043-inch hole diameter and negative side clearance. Suitable for toolholders using clamp, lever lock, pin, or screw holding methods.
Insert installation and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the toolholder is secure before seating or indexing the insert. Use the appropriate torque driver or clamping tool specified by the toolholder manufacturer when securing the insert. Inspect the insert seat and chip pocket for debris before seating a new cutting edge.
