The ACCUPRO 12176842 is a solid carbide corner radius end mill designed for precision milling operations in demanding industrial and manufacturing environments. With a 1 inch cutting diameter, 1.75 inches length of cut, and a 0.06 inch corner radius, this single-end tool delivers controlled edge geometry that reduces stress concentrations and extends tool life in hardened and abrasive workpiece materials. The AlTiN coating provides high-temperature resistance and improved wear performance, making it well suited for dry or semi-dry machining of ferrous alloys, stainless steels, and hardened steels. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC programmers working in precision machining shops.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines where corner radius profiles are required in pockets, slots, or contoured surfaces. The centercutting design allows for plunge entry, giving operators flexibility in toolpath strategies. The 40-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action across a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 1 inch shank diameter ensures rigid tool holding in standard milling chucks and collet systems sized for that shank.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tool for CNC machining centers and manual milling machines accepting a 1 inch shank diameter end mill holder, collet chuck, or hydraulic chuck.
This tool is installed by qualified machinists or CNC setup technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before inserting or removing the end mill from its holder. Ensure the shank is fully seated to the minimum insertion depth recommended by the tool holder manufacturer and that all set screws or collet nuts are torqued according to the holder manufacturer specifications. Verify spindle speed and feed rate parameters against the tool manufacturer cutting data before engaging the workpiece.
