The ACCUPRO 10441 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding machining applications. It carries a 12 mm (0.4724 inch) diameter with a 150-degree split-point angle that reduces walking and improves centering on entry. The three-flute spiral configuration promotes efficient chip evacuation and supports higher feed rates compared to standard two-flute designs. At 121 mm (4.76 inches) overall length with a 72 mm (2.84 inch) flute length, this bit fits standard jobber-length expectations. The bright, uncoated finish suits use in non-ferrous metals, plastics, and composites where coating adhesion or heat transfer is a factor. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and CNC operators are the primary users.
This drill bit is suited for production and job-shop environments running vertical machining centers, drill presses, or CNC lathes where consistent hole geometry and dimensional accuracy are required. The straight cylindrical shank seats in standard drill chucks and collet holders without modification. The regular spiral type and 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio make it a practical choice for through-holes and blind holes in materials where solid carbide performance is specified over high-speed steel alternatives.
Designed as an ANSI-specification jobber-length drill bit fitting standard drill chucks and straight-shank collet holders in the 10 mm to 12.5 mm diameter range.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators familiar with cutting tool setup and machine operation. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet and verify runout before cutting. Solid carbide tooling is brittle compared to high-speed steel — avoid side-loading, interrupted cuts in hard materials, or re-chucking a visibly chipped tool. Cutting speeds and feeds should be set per the workpiece material using published carbide tooling parameters.
