The ACCUPRO 10421 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. It measures 25/64 inch (0.3906 inch) in diameter with an overall length of 4.5 inches and a flute length of 2.375 inches. The 150-degree drill point angle and three-flute spiral configuration support efficient chip evacuation and accurate entry, particularly in harder workpiece materials. The bright, uncoated finish is suited for use in materials where a coating is unnecessary or undesirable. Licensed machinists, tool and die makers, and precision metalworking professionals are the typical end users.
This drill bit is built for right-hand cutting operations on CNC machining centers, manual drill presses, and hand-held drilling equipment where a straight cylindrical shank and ANSI-specification geometry are required. The regular spiral type and 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio make it a strong fit for through-hole and blind-hole drilling in ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is sold as a single unit and conforms to ANSI specification standards, making it a direct fit for shops that source to print or tolerance callouts.
Designed as an ANSI-specification jobber length drill bit compatible with standard straight-shank drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 25/64 inch shank diameter across CNC and manual drilling equipment.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling professionals familiar with carbide cutting tool handling. Solid carbide bits are brittle and susceptible to chipping if subjected to side loads or improper clamping — secure the shank fully in a properly sized chuck or collet before operation. Ensure the spindle speed and feed rate are appropriate for the workpiece material and bit diameter before running. Inspect the cutting edges for chipping or damage before each use, as a compromised carbide edge can cause sudden tool breakage.
