The ACCUPRO 10417 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit with a 9.50 mm (0.3740 inch) diameter and a 150-degree point angle. Manufactured to ANSI specification, it features a three-flute regular spiral design with right-hand cutting direction and a bright uncoated finish. The overall length is 108.00 mm (4.25 inches), with a flute length of 58.00 mm (2.28 inches). The straight cylindrical shank measures 0.5938 inches in diameter. Rated as a high-performance grade, this drill is suited for production environments where rigidity and tool life in harder materials are priorities. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of one.
This drill bit is designed for cutting steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and cast iron. The 150-degree point angle reduces entry thrust and improves centering on flat and curved surfaces, making it appropriate for high-volume hole-making on CNC machining centers and manual drill presses. The flute-to-diameter ratio of 5xD supports consistent chip evacuation at standard drilling depths. Maximum drilling depth is rated at 1.4375 inches. This tool is suited for machine shops, maintenance facilities, and production lines where solid carbide tooling is the standard.
Designed for use in steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metals, and cast iron workpieces. Compatible with standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 0.5938-inch straight shank. Fits within the 9.00 mm to 10.00 mm drill bit size range class (0.3500 to 0.4000 decimal inch).
Installation and use should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the drill press or machining center spindle is fully stopped and locked out before mounting or removing the bit. Verify chuck or collet runout is within acceptable tolerance before beginning a drilling operation, as excessive runout accelerates wear on solid carbide tooling. Coolant through is not supported on this bit; apply cutting fluid externally as appropriate for the workpiece material.
