The ACCUPRO 10413 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized at 23/64 inches (0.3594 inches decimal) with a 150-degree drill point angle and a bright, uncoated finish. Built from solid carbide, this bit delivers the hardness and wear resistance required for demanding drilling applications in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It runs a 3-flute spiral configuration with a standard point and right-hand cutting direction. Overall length is 4.25 inches, with a flute length of 2.25 inches. The straight cylindrical shank provides secure chuck engagement across standard drill chucks and CNC tool holders.
This jobber-length drill bit is suited for machining operations in manufacturing, fabrication, and toolroom environments. Its 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and regular spiral type make it appropriate for through-hole and blind-hole drilling in materials where carbide tooling is preferred over high-speed steel. Machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC operators working in production or maintenance settings are the primary users. Coolant-through is not supported, so conventional flood or mist coolant delivery is the standard approach for this bit.
Designed as an OEM-style jobber drill bit for use in standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a straight cylindrical shank in the 0.3500 to 0.4000 inch decimal inch size range, conforming to ANSI specification.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators familiar with carbide tooling requirements. Ensure the machine spindle and chuck or collet are fully powered down and locked out before changing tooling. Carbide bits are brittle compared to HSS alternatives and should not be subjected to interrupted cuts, side loading, or excessive runout, as these conditions can cause chipping or fracture. Verify chuck or collet concentricity before operation to maximize tool life and hole quality.
