The ACCUPRO 10391 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in demanding shop and field applications. It measures 7 mm (0.2756 inches) in diameter with an overall length of 3.54 inches and a flute length of 1.65 inches. The 150-degree point angle reduces thrust and improves self-centering on entry, making it well suited for harder workpiece materials. The bright uncoated finish allows direct visual inspection of the carbide substrate. Three spiral flutes with a regular helix provide efficient chip evacuation and stable cutting geometry at the 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio. The straight cylindrical shank seats cleanly in standard drill chucks. Licensed trades and machinists working with tight-tolerance applications will recognize the ANSI specification designation as confirmation of dimensional conformance.
This bit is intended for right-hand cutting in stationary drilling equipment such as drill presses, CNC machining centers, and high-speed hand drills where carbide rigidity can be fully utilized. It falls within the 0.25 to 0.30 inch (7 mm to 8 mm) diameter range, making it a common size for tapping pilot holes, through-holes in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and close-tolerance work in composites or hard plastics. The single-piece solid carbide construction is preferred in production environments where consistent hole quality across repeated cuts is required. It is sold individually.

Solid carbide drill bits are brittle and must be secured in a properly tightened chuck before operation — side loads or angled entry can cause breakage. Power down and de-energize the machine before bit changes. Carbide is not recommended for use in hand-held drilling where deflection cannot be controlled. Follow applicable OSHA machine guarding requirements and the tool manufacturer's recommended spindle speed and feed rate for the workpiece material.
