The ACCUPRO 07141815 is an indexable chamfer angle face mill designed for precision face milling and chamfering operations on machining centers and milling machines. It accepts a 1.5-inch arbor hole and accommodates ADSM-style inserts held by screw clamping. With a 45-degree lead angle and a positive 20-degree rake angle, the cutter is engineered for efficient chip formation and reduced cutting forces. Eight insert pockets allow for high-feed-rate production passes. Cutting direction is right hand. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and thermal management during demanding cuts. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC tooling technicians in production and job-shop environments.
The 07141815 is suited for face milling and chamfering applications on ferrous and non-ferrous workpieces in both production and job-shop settings. It covers a minimum cutting diameter of 5 inches and a maximum cutting diameter of 5.5906 inches, making it appropriate for medium-to-large face mill applications. Maximum depth of cut is 0.25 inches. The CI series designation places it within a modular, standardized tooling family. Compatible insert size code is 15, which should be matched when sourcing replacement inserts.
Designed for use with ADSM-style indexable inserts, compatible insert size code 15, on standard 1.5-inch arbor milling setups. Refer to ACCUPRO CI series insert documentation to confirm insert grade and geometry selection for your specific workpiece material.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Confirm the machine spindle and arbor are fully de-energized and locked out before mounting or changing the cutter. Seat the cutter squarely on the arbor and torque the retention hardware per the machine tool manufacturer's specification. Verify insert seating and screw torque prior to initiating any cut, and confirm coolant-through lines are open if coolant-through function is required.
