The ACCUPRO 07073141 is an indexable chamfer angle face mill designed for milling and chamfering operations on machining centers and manual mills. It accepts five indexable inserts held by screws and cuts with a 45-degree lead angle and a positive 20-degree rake angle, which reduces cutting forces and helps maintain surface finish. The cutter spans a minimum cutting diameter of 2.5 inches up to a maximum of 3.0906 inches with a maximum depth of cut of 0.25 inches. The right-hand cutting direction and ADSM cutter style make it suitable for standard climb and conventional milling setups. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and tool life in production environments. Machinists and CNC operators in job shops and production facilities are the primary users of this tool.
This face mill is suited for use on CNC machining centers and manual knee mills where face milling, chamfering, and edge-breaking operations are required. The 3/4-inch arbor hole diameter and 0.3210-inch keyway width allow mounting to standard arbors commonly found in production environments. The CI series designation and compatible insert size code 15 help identify the correct replacement inserts for the application. It is appropriate for ferrous and non-ferrous material removal where a positive-rake geometry is preferred.
Accepts compatible insert size code 15 inserts in the CI series. Designed to mount on 3/4-inch arbors with a 0.3210-inch keyway. Verify insert geometry and grade selection based on workpiece material before use.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's torque and clamping guidelines for arbor-mounted face mills. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before mounting or indexing inserts. Inspect the arbor, keyway, and draw bar for wear or damage before assembly. Always confirm runout with a dial indicator after mounting before taking the first cut.
