Product Description

The SUPCO ov38 is a universal compressor overload protector designed to guard compressor motors and single-phase motors against damage caused by excessive heat and locked-rotor conditions. A built-in temperature-activated bimetal disc opens the overload contacts when operating temperatures exceed safe limits, then resets automatically once the motor cools. Rated for 1/5 to 1/2 HP at 240 VAC and 1/10 to 1/4 HP at 120 VAC, with a locked rotor amperage range of 18.5 to 22.0 amps, this overload is suited for a wide range of small compressor and motor applications.
