The SUPCO FLS010 is a hot surface ignition (HSI) flame sensor designed for use in residential and light commercial gas furnaces. It monitors the presence of a burner flame and signals the control board to keep the gas valve open during a call for heat. Without a functioning flame sensor, the furnace will lock out on a safety trip. This sensor also supports direct spark ignition systems, making it a versatile replacement option for technicians servicing a wide range of furnace platforms. It measures 2.01 inches x 2.01 inches x 12.01 inches and weighs 0.01 pounds.
The FLS010 is suited for residential gas furnace service calls where the original flame sensor has failed or is reading erratically due to carbon buildup or age. HVAC technicians commonly encounter this part during heating season diagnostics when a furnace short-cycles or locks out with a flame-sensing fault code. The sensor is compatible with both hot surface ignition and direct spark ignition system architectures, covering a broad range of popular furnace configurations in use today.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement for residential and light commercial gas furnaces using hot surface ignition or direct spark ignition systems. Replaces OEM part number 0130F00010.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician. Always shut off power to the furnace at the disconnect and close the gas supply valve before removing or installing a flame sensor. The sensor rod must be positioned correctly in the burner flame path per the original equipment configuration. Follow all applicable local codes and the equipment manufacturer guidelines when completing the repair.
