The KREG SPS-F125 - 100 is a zinc pocket hole screw designed for use with pocket hole joinery systems. Pocket hole screws draw two workpieces together at the joint, pulling the mating surfaces tight as the screw seats. The zinc coating provides basic corrosion resistance suitable for interior applications. This fastener is sold individually and is a standard component used by carpenters, cabinet makers, finish contractors, and woodworking trades who rely on pocket hole joinery for fast, strong connections.
Pocket hole screws like the SPS-F125 - 100 are used in residential and light commercial woodworking applications, including cabinet assembly, face frame construction, furniture building, and general millwork. They are driven into pre-drilled pocket holes created by a compatible pocket hole jig, and are not intended for use without a properly sized pilot pocket.
Designed as a replacement or replenishment fastener for use with standard pocket hole joinery systems that accept this screw size and thread type.
Pocket hole screws should be driven with a dedicated square-drive or hex-drive bit at the torque setting appropriate for the workpiece material to avoid over-driving or stripping. Always drill the pocket hole with a properly sized jig and bit before driving the screw. Do not substitute a standard twist-drilled hole for a pocket hole pilot, as this will affect seating and clamping force at the joint.
