The ZING GREEN SAFETY 7110 is a single breaker lockout device used to secure individual circuit breakers in the off position during electrical maintenance and service work. It physically prevents accidental re-energization of a circuit while a technician is working on the system. This device is a core component of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 for the control of hazardous energy. Electricians, maintenance technicians, and facilities personnel use single breaker lockouts as part of standard energy isolation protocols on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical panels.
The 7110 is suited for use on standard toggle-style circuit breakers found in residential load centers and light commercial panelboards. It is applied directly to the breaker before work begins, securing the breaker handle and blocking unauthorized operation. The RecycLockout design references materials or construction intended for repeated use across routine service calls and scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment for single-pole toggle circuit breakers commonly found in residential and light commercial electrical panelboards.
Single breaker lockouts are installed by licensed electricians and qualified maintenance personnel following a written LOTO program. Before applying the lockout device, the circuit must be switched to the off position and all stored energy verified as isolated. The device is secured with a personal safety padlock, and a LOTO tag should be attached to identify the authorized technician. Follow OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 and applicable NEC guidelines for all energy control procedures.
