The YG-1 33560TF is a double-end, square-profile solid carbide end mill designed for precision milling in metalworking applications. It features a TiAlN coating and a micrograin carbide substrate, giving it strong wear resistance and thermal stability at elevated cutting temperatures. With a 9/64-inch mill diameter, 5/16-inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle, the 33560TF is built for right-hand cutting in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The stub-length configuration provides added rigidity in tight setups. This tool is installed and used by machinists and CNC operators working in job shops, tool rooms, and production environments.
The 33560TF fits applications where a small-diameter, high-performance end mill is needed for slotting, profiling, or finishing operations on steel and stainless steel workpieces. The double-end design provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life per unit. Its straight-cylindrical shank seats securely in standard collet chucks and end mill holders. The stub length and 3/16-inch shank diameter make it well suited for work in confined areas or shallow-depth passes where tool deflection must be minimized. Primary workpiece material is steel, with secondary suitability for stainless steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit tool for standard collet chucks and end mill holders accepting a 3/16-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for CNC machining centers and manual mills configured for small-diameter carbide end mills in steel and ferrous metal applications.
Installation is performed by machinists using a collet chuck or end mill holder sized for a 3/16-inch shank. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is powered down before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the holder to the recommended gauge length and torque the collet nut per the holder manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges visually before use and do not run a chipped or worn tool.
