The YG-1 07565TC is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in demanding machining environments. Built from micrograin solid carbide with a TiCN coating, this tool delivers wear resistance and thermal stability across a range of metalworking applications. It features a 3/16 inch diameter, a 5/8 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The 30-degree right-hand helix and four-flute spiral geometry promote efficient chip evacuation and surface finish quality. This end mill is a single-end, straight-shank tool suited for CNC machining centers and manual mills operated by machinists and tool-and-die professionals.
The 07565TC is engineered for milling steel as its primary workpiece material, with secondary capability in stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials. Its regular-length profile and 3/16 inch straight-cylindrical shank make it well suited for slotting, profiling, and peripheral milling operations in both production and job-shop environments. The TiCN coating extends tool life in abrasive and high-speed steel cutting conditions. This tool is not center-cutting, so plunge entry is not recommended without a pre-drilled starting hole.
Designed for use in standard 3/16 inch collets and end mill holders on CNC machining centers and manual milling machines. Suitable for steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and hard materials per YG-1 Series E5021 application ratings.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by a qualified machinist with the spindle fully powered down and the machine in a safe, locked-out state. Ensure the collet or end mill holder is clean and free of debris before seating the shank; shank diameter tolerance is +0.0000 to -0.0005 inches. Do not use this tool for plunge cutting, as it is not center-cutting. Verify correct speeds and feeds for the workpiece material and coating type before beginning any cut.
