The YELLOW JACKET 60333 is a bending mandrel designed for field use by HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics working with soft tubing. Built around a 1/2 inch OD bending capacity, this mandrel supports one-handed operation, allowing a technician to make clean, consistent bends without collapsing or kinking the tube wall. It handles soft copper and soft aluminum tubing ranging from 1/4 inch to 7/8 inch OD. Hard copper must be annealed before bending with this tool. The design is suited for service and installation work where speed and accuracy matter in tight spaces.
This bending mandrel is used in residential and light commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing applications wherever soft copper or soft aluminum tubing runs need to be routed around obstructions or fitted to equipment. It is a standard hand tool carried by service technicians during system installation, repair, and retrofit work.
