The XTRWELD WCS4/0B-50CL is a 4/0 AWG, 600-volt welding cable supplied in a 50-foot cut length. It is built around a rope-lay, bunch-stranded 30 AWG SAE copper conductor wrapped with a paper separator and jacketed in a proprietary low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF) EPDM compound. The result is a flexible, heavy-duty cable suited for high-amperage welding circuits and demanding battery system wiring. It is SAE J1127 compliant, RoHS compliant, and manufactured in the USA. Licensed electricians, welding technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals are the primary installers.
This cable is designed for use in welding stingers and whips, welding leads, and ground clamp assemblies. It also serves battery applications including charger wiring and wire harnesses. The LSHF EPDM jacket provides resistance to a wide range of chemical and environmental hazards encountered in shop, fleet, and industrial settings, making it a reliable choice where cable durability and chemical exposure are primary concerns.
Designed for use in welding stinger and whip assemblies, welding lead sets, ground clamp assemblies, battery charger wiring, and wire harness applications requiring a 600-volt, 4/0 AWG flexible copper cable.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or certified welding technician following applicable NEC and equipment manufacturer guidelines. De-energize all welding equipment and disconnect battery systems before terminating or replacing cable. Use appropriately rated lugs, connectors, and clamps rated for 4/0 AWG conductors. Avoid sharp bends at termination points to preserve conductor integrity and jacket life.
