The XTRWELD WCS3/0B-25CL is a 25-foot cut length of SELECT series welding cable rated at 600 volts and sized at 3/0 AWG. It is built around a rope-lay, bunch-stranded 30 AWG SAE copper conductor wrapped with a paper separator and jacketed in a proprietary low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF) EPDM compound. The result is a flexible, heavy-duty cable engineered to handle the current demands of welding operations and battery-based electrical systems. It is manufactured in the USA and meets SAE J1127 and RoHS compliance standards. Welding professionals, electricians, and fleet service technicians install this cable in demanding environments where chemical resistance and mechanical durability are required.
This cable is suited for use in stingers and whips, welding leads, and ground clamp assemblies. It also serves battery applications including charger hookups and wire harness builds in commercial and industrial settings. The LSHF EPDM jacket provides resistance to abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, gasoline, power-steering fluid, transmission fluid, flame, and extreme temperatures. This range of chemical and thermal resistance makes it a practical choice for mobile welding rigs, fleet maintenance shops, and industrial facilities where exposure to fluids and heat is routine.
Designed for use in stinger and whip assemblies, welding lead sets, ground clamp assemblies, battery chargers, and wire harness applications requiring a 3/0 AWG, 600-volt-rated flexible welding cable.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or qualified welding equipment technicians. De-energize and disconnect all power sources before terminating or splicing cable. Use lugs, connectors, and termination hardware rated for 3/0 AWG conductors and the full voltage and ampacity of the circuit. Follow applicable NEC requirements for ampacity, overcurrent protection, and termination methods when installing in permanent or semi-permanent electrical assemblies.
