The XTRWELD 23-40-15 is a MIG wire conduit liner sized at 0.040 inches and 15 feet in length, designed to guide wire feed smoothly through Tweco-style MIG gun assemblies. The liner maintains consistent wire feed tension and reduces friction along the gun's cable, which helps prevent birdnesting and erratic wire delivery during welding. Sold individually, this liner is an OEM-quality replacement suitable for welding technicians and fabricators performing routine MIG gun maintenance. Proper liner condition is essential to stable arc performance, spatter control, and overall weld quality.
This liner is intended for use with Tweco-style MIG guns rated from 100A to 160A, including the Classic, Weldskill, Velocity, and Mini-MIG product families. It is a go-to replacement consumable for MIG welding maintenance in light industrial, fabrication shop, and field repair environments. The 15-foot length suits standard-length MIG gun cables. Each unit is marked with its part number or wire size for straightforward identification during inventory and installation.
Designed for use with Tweco-style MIG guns rated 100A to 160A, including Classic, Weldskill, Velocity, and Mini-MIG style gun assemblies. Intended as an OEM-quality interchangeable replacement for Tweco Weldskill-compatible liners.
Liner replacement is a standard MIG gun maintenance task performed by welding technicians and fabricators. Before replacing the liner, disconnect the MIG gun from the wire feeder and ensure the welder is powered off. Feed the new liner through the gun cable from the feeder end, trim to the correct length per the gun manufacturer's specification, and secure the retaining hardware before reattaching the contact tip and nozzle. Avoid kinking the liner during installation, as any bend restriction will impede wire feed consistency.
