The WOODS 2235 is a 3-foot, 16/2 SPT-2 indoor extension cord designed for light-duty household and facility applications. Rated at 13 amps and 125 volts, it uses a two-conductor, 16-gauge construction suitable for resistive loads such as floor lamps, fans, and clocks. The flat plug profile keeps the cord seated close to the wall surface, allowing furniture placement near baseboards without interference. A patented cord curvature design maintains a tidy appearance at the outlet, and a soft pull strap simplifies removal from tight or low-clearance receptacles. The cord is polarized and UL listed.
This extension cord is intended for indoor residential and light commercial use where a short, low-profile run is needed near a wall outlet. It is well suited for floor lamps, small fans, alarm clocks, and similar low-draw household devices. The flat plug design prevents the cord from blocking an adjacent outlet on a standard duplex receptacle, making it practical in areas where outlet space is limited.
Designed for indoor use with standard 125-volt household receptacles, suitable for floor lamps, fans, clocks, and similar light-duty devices drawing 13 amps or less.
This cord is for indoor use only and should not be used as a permanent wiring substitute. Do not exceed the 13-amp rated load. Ensure the receptacle is de-energized or the connected device is powered off before plugging or unplugging in confined spaces. NEC guidelines prohibit the use of extension cords as permanent building wiring.
