The WIREPATH WP-CAT6-RJ45-180-GN is a Cat 6 UTP RJ45 keystone jack insert finished in green. Designed for structured wiring installations, this 180-degree punch-down style insert terminates unshielded twisted-pair Cat 6 cabling and snaps into standard keystone wall plates, patch panels, and surface-mount boxes. The green color coding supports color-organized port identification in multi-drop installations. Low-voltage technicians and network installers use this type of insert during residential and light commercial data cabling runs to create clean, field-terminated data outlets.

This keystone insert is suited for horizontal cabling runs in residential structured wiring systems, small office networks, and commercial low-voltage installations where Cat 6 performance is required. It is installed at the termination point of a Cat 6 UTP run, converting the raw cable end into a finished RJ45 jack outlet. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed or certified low-voltage technicians in accordance with TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Strip and seat Cat 6 UTP conductors into the color-coded punch-down slots using a 110-style punch-down tool before seating the insert into the keystone port. De-energize any PoE switch ports connected to the run before terminating. Avoid untwisting conductors more than 0.5 inches from the termination point to maintain Cat 6 performance margins.
