Cat6A plenum cable is engineered to support 10-Gigabit Ethernet at frequencies up to 500 MHz and is constructed with a low-smoke, low-flame jacket compound that meets plenum air-handling space requirements under NFPA 90A. Network installers and low-voltage technicians pull this cable through ceiling plenums, raised-floor systems, and air-return pathways where standard PVC-jacketed cable is not code-compliant.
