The WIREPATH NST-CAT6-1000-BLK is a 1000-foot bulk spool of Category 6 riser-rated (CMR) unshielded twisted-pair cable supplied in a pull box for clean, tangle-free installation. Cat 6 cable supports Gigabit Ethernet and is backward-compatible with Cat 5e infrastructure. The riser rating qualifies this cable for vertical runs between floors in commercial and residential buildings where air-plenum rating is not required. Low-voltage technicians, structured-cabling contractors, and AV integrators are the typical installers for this product.

This cable is suited for horizontal and vertical structured-cabling runs in office buildings, multi-unit residential construction, schools, and light commercial environments. It supports data networking, VoIP, and PoE applications. The 1000-foot pull box format is standard for new construction rough-in and large retrofit projects where continuous runs are needed without mid-run splices.
