The WIREPATH NST-CAT5E-1000-BLK is a 1000-foot bulk spool of Cat 5e unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cable rated to 350 MHz, supplied in a pull box for clean, tangle-free installation. Cat 5e at 350 MHz supports Gigabit Ethernet and standard VoIP and data applications in both residential and light commercial structured-wiring installations. The black jacket makes it easy to differentiate from other cable runs in conduit or cable trays. Low-voltage installers and network technicians are the primary trade pulling this cable.

This cable is suited for horizontal runs in structured cabling systems, home-run drops to wall plates, and backbone segments in small commercial deployments. The 1000-foot box format is the standard field quantity for contractors completing full-floor or whole-home data installs. It works with standard Cat 5e keystone jacks, patch panels, and modular plugs terminated with a 110 punch-down tool or RJ45 crimper.
