The WIREMOLD / LEGRAND NM2044-2WH is a 2-gang extra deep nonmetallic device box designed for surface-mount wiring applications. Built for use with nonmetallic surface raceway systems, this box provides additional interior depth to accommodate larger devices, wiring bundles, or deeper-profile receptacles and switches. Electricians install this box as part of a complete raceway assembly where in-wall wiring is not practical or permitted. The nonmetallic construction resists corrosion and does not require bonding to the equipment grounding conductor in the same manner as metallic enclosures.

This device box is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations where surface raceway wiring methods are required or preferred. Typical applications include retrofit wiring runs along baseboards or walls, additions to existing finished spaces, and installations in areas where cutting into wall cavities is not feasible. It is intended for use with compatible NM-series surface raceway components from the same product family.
