The WILLIAMS TOOLS JHW1252TSB is a straight box end tubular handle wrench with a 12-point head and a 1-5/8 inch opening. It is designed for use in confined spaces where standard wrenches cannot reach or turn freely. The wrench functions with or without its optional handle, giving technicians two modes of operation: run down fasteners quickly using the tubular shaft alone, then attach the handle for final tightening or to access otherwise blocked fasteners. A detent on the wrench shaft aligns the locking button with the handle hole for secure attachment. Finished in black, it weighs 2.251 pounds and measures 13.6 inches in length.
This wrench is suited for trade professionals including HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and mechanical contractors who regularly work in tight equipment bays, panel enclosures, or structural assemblies. The straight box head provides clearance-limited access that offset or open-end wrenches cannot match. Both SAE and corresponding metric fastener sizes are marked on the wrench, reducing the need to switch tools when working with mixed fastener sets. It is sold individually and is appropriate for commercial and industrial maintenance applications as well as residential service work.
Designed as a straight box end tubular handle wrench for use with 1-5/8 inch fasteners in applications requiring access to recessed or clearance-restricted hardware.
This wrench is intended for use by qualified trade professionals working on mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC equipment. Before servicing any equipment, de-energize electrical systems, shut off fluid or gas supply lines, and relieve system pressure as required. Use the tubular shaft without the handle to start fasteners in tight spaces, then attach the handle for full torque application. Do not use pipe extensions or cheater bars on the handle beyond the designed grip length.
