The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISSXTM913 is a 1/2 inch drive Flextension socket extension engineered for engine assembly, heavy equipment manufacturing, and industrial repair work. The integrated design permanently bonds the drive extension and socket into a single unit, eliminating the risk of socket separation during continuous power-tool operation. The socket features a SUPERTORQUE lobular opening that grips fasteners more securely and reduces fastener deformation under high torque. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1,920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). The drive end includes a 7/32 inch cross hole bevel for easier engagement, and the unit allows up to 30 degrees of angle offset for accessing fasteners in tight or obstructed locations.
This Flextension is designed for use with hand tools and power tools including impulse and direct-drive tools. It is not rated for impact tool use. Typical applications include production assembly lines, fleet maintenance shops, and heavy equipment repair facilities where socket retention and continuous operation are critical. The black oxide finish provides corrosion resistance in shop environments. Made in the U.S.A., the JHWISSXTM913 is sold individually.
Designed for use with hand tools and power tools using a 1/2 inch drive interface, including impulse and direct-drive tools. Not compatible with impact tools.
This extension is intended for use by mechanics and assembly technicians working on engine and heavy equipment applications. Before use, confirm that the drive tool is not an impact wrench, as impact use is explicitly prohibited for this tool. Inspect the TIG-welded retention pin and lobular socket opening for wear or damage before each use. Do not exceed the rated maximum working torque of 160 ft-lbs to avoid tool damage or fastener failure.
