Product Description

The WILLIAMS COMFORT PRODUCTS JHWISSXTM412 is a 1/2 inch drive Flextension — an integrated drive extension and socket assembly built for continuous industrial use. The 12 MM, 6-point socket is permanently fixed to the extension via a TIG-welded retention pin, eliminating the risk of the socket separating from the extension during operation. The socket opening uses a SUPERTORQUE lobular profile designed to apply turning force to fastener flats rather than corners, reducing fastener deformation. Maximum working torque is rated at 160 ft-lbs (1920 in-lbs / 217 Nm). The unit allows up to 30 degrees of angle offset and is finished in black oxide for corrosion resistance.

Flextensions are used extensively in engine and heavy equipment manufacturing, assembly, and repair environments. The integrated, non-removable socket-and-extension design supports reliable, uninterrupted work cycles on production lines and in shop settings where dropped or disconnected sockets create downtime.
