The WILKERSON F28-06-SL00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove contaminants from compressed air lines in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. Built on the Wilkerson Series 28 platform, it accepts a 3/4 inch NPT port with standard NPT end connections and delivers a rated flow of 145 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM). The filter uses sintered polyethylene filter media to capture particulates and moisture aerosols before they reach downstream tools, valves, and actuators. A manual drain and integrated sight glass allow technicians to monitor bowl fill level and purge collected liquid without removing the assembly. Modular connection support makes this unit compatible with Wilkerson Series 28 lock-up assemblies.
This filter is suited for general purpose compressed air service in manufacturing facilities, maintenance shops, and industrial process lines where reliable air quality upstream of pneumatic equipment is required. The 3/4 inch NPT port size targets mid-range flow applications, and the manual drain design fits installations where scheduled maintenance intervals are already established. Installation is typically performed by a licensed pipefitter or qualified industrial maintenance technician. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply completely before removing any existing filter or making connections. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and verify there are no leaks before returning the system to pressure. Drain the bowl regularly per site maintenance schedules to prevent liquid carryover to downstream equipment.
