The WILKERSON F18-04-SL00B is a general purpose compressed air filter designed to remove particulate contamination from compressed air lines. It accepts a 1/2 inch NPT connection and delivers up to 82 standard cubic feet per minute (SCFM) of filtered airflow. The filter uses a sintered polyethylene filter media element and features a manual drain for periodic condensate removal. An integrated sight glass lets technicians check bowl fluid level without disassembly. This unit is part of the Series 18 modular filter lineup, making it compatible with other Series 18 components for system expansion. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and pneumatic system technicians are the primary installers.
The F18-04-SL00B is suited for industrial and commercial compressed air systems where general purpose particulate filtration is required upstream of pneumatic tools, actuators, solenoid valves, and control equipment. The modular connection design allows it to be combined with Series 18 regulators and lubricators to build a complete filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) assembly. It operates down to -13 degrees F, making it usable in cold-environment installations such as outdoor enclosures or unheated mechanical rooms. The aluminum bowl and nylon bowl guard keep weight low while providing adequate durability for typical service pressures.
Designed as a Series 18 modular component for use in compressed air filter, regulator, and lubricator assemblies requiring a 1/2 inch NPT inlet connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system piping and pneumatic component assembly. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this filter. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to NPT connections and torque fittings according to the system piping requirements. Mount the filter with the bowl oriented downward to allow proper condensate collection and drainage.
