The WILKERSON B28-03-FL00B is a single-piece filter/regulator combination unit designed for compressed air line conditioning in industrial and commercial pneumatic systems. It filters particulates down to 5 microns while regulating downstream pressure, delivering up to 200 SCFM through a 3/8 NPT port. The aluminum body and aluminum bowl keep weight low at 1.87 pounds without sacrificing durability in typical shop or plant environments. A built-in sight glass allows quick visual checks of bowl liquid level without disassembly. The manual drain lets technicians purge collected moisture and contaminants during scheduled maintenance. Pneumatic system technicians and mechanical contractors install this unit as part of an air preparation train upstream of valves, actuators, or pneumatic tools.
The B28-03-FL00B suits standard-duty compressed air applications where a compact, single-body filter/regulator is preferred over a multi-piece FRL assembly. Its 3/8 NPT end connections fit directly into typical quarter-inch and three-eighths compressed air distribution headers. The Series 28 modular design supports inline expansion, allowing additional components to be joined without additional pipe fittings. It is appropriate for both original equipment installations and replacement of worn or failed air prep units on existing pneumatic lines in manufacturing, maintenance, and process control settings.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation filter/regulator for standard compressed air preparation systems using 3/8 NPT connections. Compatible with WILKERSON Series 28 modular air preparation assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pneumatic systems technician or mechanical contractor. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply completely before removing any existing air prep components or installing this unit. Mount the unit vertically with the bowl facing downward to allow proper liquid collection and drainage. Follow applicable compressed air system codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines for torque and sealing of NPT threaded connections.
