The WILKERSON B18-04-FL00B is a compact, single-piece filter/regulator combination unit designed for compressed air systems. It filters particulate contamination down to 5 microns while simultaneously regulating downstream pressure, keeping pneumatic tools, valves, and actuators operating within their rated pressure ranges. The unit handles up to 164 SCFM flow and a maximum supply pressure of 250 psi. The aluminum body and aluminum bowl keep weight low at 1.17 pounds. A built-in sight glass lets technicians monitor bowl fluid level without removing the bowl. A manual drain handles condensate removal. Licensed industrial mechanics and pipefitters typically install this unit as part of an FRL assembly on compressed air distribution lines.
The B18-04-FL00B suits light to medium industrial and commercial pneumatic applications where a compact footprint is required. It fits point-of-use installations on machine tools, automation equipment, spray systems, and general shop air drops. The 1/2 NPT port size makes it compatible with standard half-inch compressed air piping. The modular connection design allows it to be combined with other Series 18 components to build a complete FRL train. Operating temperature range is -13 degrees F to 150 degrees F, covering most indoor and sheltered outdoor service environments.
Designed as a modular Series 18 component, the B18-04-FL00B is compatible with other WILKERSON Series 18 FRL units for building multi-stage filter/regulator/lubricator assemblies. No additional compatible model numbers were specified in the product data.
Installation is performed by qualified industrial mechanics, pipefitters, or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply completely before installing or servicing this unit. Apply thread sealant appropriate for pneumatic service to all NPT connections per applicable piping codes. Mount the unit vertically with the bowl pointing downward to allow proper condensate collection and manual drain operation.
