The WIKA 9745416 is a dry, analog pressure gauge built for accurate pressure monitoring in industrial, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system applications. It features a 4-inch dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and delivers 1 percent of scale accuracy, making it suitable for systems where reliable pressure readings are critical. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance in demanding environments. The 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows direct inline or panel installation. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters are the typical installers of this gauge in commercial and industrial piping systems.
This gauge is appropriate for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating loops, compressed air lines, water supply systems, and general fluid handling applications where pressures fall within the 0 to 160 psi range. The lower-mount NPT connection suits installations where the process connection enters from the bottom of the gauge, a common configuration in panel boards and pipe-mounted assemblies. The no-fill design keeps installation straightforward without the need for glycerin or silicone dampening fluid.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pressure gauge for systems using 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connections with operating pressures up to 160 psi.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing any existing gauge or fitting the new gauge into the process connection. Use appropriate thread sealant on NPT threads and avoid over-tightening, which can damage the socket or gauge body. Do not install on systems where operating pressures exceed the rated maximum of 160 psi.
