The WIKA 9744924 is an analog pressure gauge designed for accurate pressure monitoring in mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial service applications. It features a 2.5-inch dial with a 0 to 100 PSI range and an accuracy rating of plus or minus 2-1/2 percent of scale. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts make this gauge suitable for use in corrosive or demanding environments where carbon steel components would degrade. The 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount connection allows straightforward installation directly into threaded pipe or equipment ports. This gauge ships as a dry (no-fill) unit and is typically installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pipefitters.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a compact, durable pressure-indicating instrument is required. Typical install scenarios include boiler systems, compressed air lines, water supply systems, hydronic heating circuits, and pump discharge monitoring. The 2.5-inch dial provides clear readability in confined mechanical rooms or equipment enclosures. The lower-mount NPT connection is the standard orientation for panel-mount or pipe-tee installations where the gauge stem points straight down into the process connection.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or drop-in addition for systems requiring a 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount analog pressure gauge with a 2.5-inch dial. WIKA model number 232.54.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, pipefitter, or HVAC technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing an existing gauge or threading in a new one. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads per standard practice — do not overtighten, as stainless fittings can gall. Verify the process media and pressure range are within the gauge specifications before returning the system to service.
