The WIKA 4207815 is a glycerine-filled analog pressure gauge designed for accurate, stable pressure monitoring in demanding industrial and mechanical systems. It features a 4-inch dial with a 0 to 30 psi range and delivers 1% of scale accuracy, making it suitable for applications where vibration or pulsation can affect readings. The stainless steel case and stainless steel wetted parts provide corrosion resistance in wet or chemically aggressive environments. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance professionals install this gauge on pipelines, pressure vessels, and fluid systems requiring reliable local pressure indication.
This gauge is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, and light industrial fluid handling where glycerine fill is preferred to dampen pointer movement caused by pressure spikes or system vibration. The lower back mount configuration positions the process connection at the base rear of the gauge, allowing flush or panel mounting in tight installations. It is typically installed on water, oil, or compatible fluid lines where continuous pressure readout is required at or near the point of service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install pressure gauge for residential and commercial fluid systems requiring a 4-inch dial, 1/4-inch lower back mount connection, and glycerine fill with stainless steel wetted parts. WIKA model 233.54 platform.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC or industrial technician. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line fully before removing an existing gauge or installing this unit. Use an appropriate thread sealant on the 1/4-inch NPT connection and tighten with a wrench on the gauge fitting hex — do not apply torque to the gauge case or dial. Verify the installed gauge pressure range is appropriate for the system operating pressure before returning the system to service.
