The WIKA 30025A005A4SF is a bimetal dial thermometer designed for temperature measurement in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial process applications. It reads from 0 to 200 degrees F and uses a 2.5-inch stem to probe into pipes, ducts, or vessels. The housing is constructed from 18-8 stainless steel, making it suitable for environments where corrosion resistance matters. Connection is from the back of the dial, allowing direct in-line or panel-mount installation without obstruction in front of the dial face. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 1.0 percent of full scale. Licensed HVAC technicians and plumbers are the primary installers of this instrument in field service and mechanical room settings.
This thermometer is well-suited for residential and light commercial HVAC systems, hydronic heating loops, domestic hot water systems, and process piping where a visual temperature read is required at a fixed point. The back-connection mount makes it a practical choice for installations where the thermometer is inserted into a tee fitting or thermowell and the dial face needs to remain unobstructed and readable from the front. The 2.5-inch stem length accommodates standard insertion depths in most pipe and fitting configurations commonly found in HVAC and plumbing work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation bimetal dial thermometer for use with standard back-connection thermowell fittings in HVAC, plumbing, and light industrial piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or plumber. Shut off the system and relieve any line pressure before inserting or removing the thermometer stem from a fitting or thermowell. Use a thermowell where direct immersion into high-velocity or high-pressure lines is not appropriate. Verify that the stem length and connection thread match the fitting before installation to prevent leaks or instrument damage.
