The WIHA 27396 is an 8-piece ESD-safe precision screwdriver set designed for work on electrostatic-discharge-sensitive components and assemblies. The set includes both Phillips and slotted drivers sized for fine, precision work: Phillips sizes #000, #00, #0, and #1, plus slotted sizes 1.5 mm, 2 mm, 2.5 mm, and 3 mm. Each driver is ESD-rated, making the set appropriate for circuit board service, instrumentation repair, and any task where electrostatic discharge could damage sensitive components. The full set stores in an included canvas pouch and weighs 0.38 pounds complete.
This set is suited for electronics technicians, HVAC controls technicians, electricians, and instrumentation specialists who work on low-voltage boards, control panels, variable-frequency drives, thermostats, and similar ESD-sensitive assemblies. The range of Phillips and slotted tip sizes covers the fasteners most commonly encountered in residential and light commercial control boards, sensors, and enclosure hardware. The canvas pouch keeps all eight drivers organized at the bench or in a service bag.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use precision screwdriver set for ESD-sensitive electronics, control board, and instrumentation service applications.
ESD-safe tools should be used in conjunction with a grounded ESD wrist strap and anti-static work mat when servicing sensitive boards or components. Power down and de-energize equipment fully before beginning any controls or board-level service. Inspect driver tips before each use and replace any driver showing tip wear, as a damaged tip can slip and damage fastener heads or nearby components.
