The WIEGMANN NP2020 is a 14-gauge steel back panel designed for use inside electrical enclosures. It measures 17 inches wide by 17 inches high and fits enclosure boxes with a 20-inch by 20-inch interior footprint. The panel features a powder coat finish for corrosion resistance and serves as the primary mounting surface for terminal blocks, DIN rail, contactors, relays, and other electrical components housed inside the enclosure. Electricians and industrial control panel builders install this panel when outfitting or refitting qualifying WIEGMANN enclosure boxes. At 9 pounds, the panel offers solid rigidity appropriate for component-dense layouts.
This back panel is suited for use in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical control applications where a NEMA-rated enclosure is required. It is sized to drop into the compatible 20-inch by 20-inch enclosure boxes listed by WIEGMANN, making it a direct OEM-style fit for new builds and replacement installations. Typical installations include motor control centers, PLC enclosures, distribution panels, and HVAC electrical control cabinets where a mountable interior surface is needed.
Designed for use with WIEGMANN enclosure models B202007CH, B202009CH, LOH202008, N12202006, N12202008, N12202010, RHC202008, and WA202006FM.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed electrician or qualified control panel technician. De-energize all circuits and lock out the enclosure before beginning any interior panel work, following applicable NFPA 70 and OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Secure the back panel to the enclosure using the manufacturer-specified hardware for the box model in use. Verify that all component mounting and wiring meets local electrical codes and the NEC before energizing.
